2. Hosting and access logs

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: your IP address, the time, the requested page and browser information. This is used to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfers to the USA. Transfers are based on the adequacy decision under Article 45 GDPR. Cloudflare processes these access logs. We do not store or analyse them ourselves.

3. No cookies or tracking

This website uses no cookies, tracking, analytics or embedded services. Fonts, video and audio are served from this website itself. Apart from hosting, this website loads nothing from third parties.

4. Email

If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply. Afterwards, we delete them. With ‘Notify me’, you receive a single email at launch; afterwards, we delete your address.

For ‘Notify me’, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). For other emails, it is our legitimate interest in answering messages (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email, with effect for the future (Article 7(3) GDPR).

The mailbox is provided by Google (Gmail): Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may process data in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Transfers are based on the adequacy decision under Article 45 GDPR.

5. The app

Groove Crew runs as an app on your Mac. Recording, cleaning and text recognition happen on your Mac. Your recordings are not uploaded.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR. You can withdraw your consent, including for ‘Notify me’, at any time by email, with effect for the future (Article 7(3) GDPR).

Right to object

If we process data on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object at any time (Article 21 GDPR).

You can complain to a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
